Bae's Dog Walking LLC is owned and operated by a husband and wife team Brittany Erickson and Joshua Mott. They started the business in 2009 for their love of animals. They have a 4yr old Pitbull/Labrador mix named Zamora. She is permantly blind in her right eye. A 3lb 7 year old Chihuahua rescue named Tillie. A rescued cat named Farley, a 9 year old diabetic cat.. There's also two other cats: Thor, our 7 year old asthmatic, and Lestat, our 7 year old. Recently they've rescued a pigeon who was hit by a car at whole foods and is currently in recovery.
Prior to starting the business, Brittany did a 3 month internship at the Species Survival Center for the Audubon Institute where she worked with exotic cats and many other endangered species. volunteer with The Animal Assistance League, Pontchatrain Humane Society where she did fostering and wildlife rehabiltion. We've done tons of animal rescues independently.
We have tons of domestic animal experiences. We have hand raised dogs, cats, squirrels, possums, and raccoons. Brittany has trained horses and was a a grand champion hunter jumper by the age of 13. She's worked on multiple farms working with horses, cows, goats, birds and pigs. She has personally owned guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas, ferrets, hamsters, turtles, snakes, ducks, chickens, bearded dragons, and miniature goats.
